Conferences
ACT TRAVELWISE holds two major international conferences every year.
The Winter / Spring Confernce which will this year be held on (6th February 2008 in London), combines a range of expert speakers dealing with the major policy issues which affect the field. It will also host the EGM which will be the forum to elect the new board of directors to take the association forward.

Our Autumn Conference is held alongside our Annual General Meeting. Everyone is welcome at the AGM, although only ACT TRAVELWISE members have voting rights.
Masterclasses
Masterclasses are held at various intervals throughout the year. They are normally based around a specific topic or case study and comprise presentations, site visits and interactive discussion groups. They are an excellent opportunity for members to network and see first hand a successfully operating Travel Plan.
Training Courses
ACT TRAVELWISE Training Courses are provided with Members in mind, we run an Introduction to Workplace Travel Planning Course which is very popular, and also run a course run by marketing experts on marketing travel behaviour change. However if you have any ideas regarding appropriate issues to cover or can offer a venue – let us know!
Through PTRC, a variety of courses on travel planning and related issues are also available to ACT TRAVEWISE Members at discounted rates such as Traffic Survey Techniques.
Response Service
ACT TRAVELWISE Members can contact us via the Telephone Hotline on 020 7348 1977 or the Email Response Service mail@act-uk.com and seek advice on any aspect of writing, implementing and monitoring their Travel Plan.
Newsletter
ACT TRAVELWISE Newsletter is produced several times a year to keep members up to date with, activities, how different organisations are developing their travel plans and the latest developments in sustainable transport from around the UK and the rest of the world. E

Factsheets
ACT TRAVELWISE Factsheets cover specific travel plan topics (e.g. Staff Travel Survey design, Car Sharing, Bus Contract Negotiation, etc), or focus on case studies from different organisation categories (e.g. Local Authorities, Commercial Businesses, NHS, etc).
Website
ACT TRAVELWISE is an interactive website and we are dependent on the goodwill of our members to share images, case studies, develop the definitions of travel plans, add their news items and input to the debate board.
If you have a job you want to advertise, a news story about successes or failures, opinions, events to advertise, documents or images to share or want to engage in debate with other members then ACT TRAVELWISE website is here for you.
Webzine
All news, events, jobs and documents that are added to the website are emailed to our database of members that are registered to the website about two or three times a month.

Members Voice
ACT TRAVELWISE regularly speaks on behalf of its members for changes in government policy that would aid the take up and success of Travel Plans and sustainable transport. Our Directors have regular meetings with senior civil servants and politicians. If there are particular issues that you would like us to raise, let us know!
National Branding
Members are able to use the TravelWise® Registered Trademark. This is used by 170 organisations who have joined the association and is increasingly becoming the recognised national brand for sustainable travel promotion.
